AP-300PH Key Features
-
4-Stage Purification System
Did you know that the air inside your home or office may be 2 to 5 times more polluted than the air outdoors? The AP-300PH Air Purifier uses an innovative 4-stage purification system to safely remove airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns from your air, including pollen, ragweed and other allergens, mold spores, dust mites, viruses, germs, pet dander, cigarette smoke and odors.
-
1. Carbon Filter Safely Removes Large Airborne Particles
The AP-300PH's four-stage purification system lets you get the most out of your air purifier. The purifier's carbon filter removes odors and captures large airborne particles from your room.
-
2. Sanitized Technology Keeps Carbon Filter Clean
The carbon filter is equipped with Sanitized® technology, which effectively reduces the development of bacteria, fungi, and dust mites on the carbon filter itself. This is important because, without this technology, microbes can settle on the filter and be re-circulated into the air. -
3. True HEPA Filter Removes Small Particles
Capable of filtering even the smallest microbes, the True HEPA filter is designed to safely remove 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns from your home or office, including pollen, ragweed and other allergens, mold spores, dust mites, viruses, germs, pet dander, cigarette smoke and odors. Yellow and red lights on the display panel indicate when the filter needs changing, ensuring that you change your True HEPA filter when needed. The filter is also cost effective--with normal usage, your True HEPA filter will last an average of 12 months.
-
4. PlasmaTRUE™ Technology Safely Removes Airborne Pollutants
The AP-300PH utilizes PlasmaTRUE™ Technology to create an ionized field to help safely remove airborne pollutants. The energized particles released by this technology purify the filtered air without producing ozone or other harmful pollutants.
-
AHAM Certification
Fellowes® Air Purifiers have been certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) with three Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) numbers which indicate the volume of filtered air delivered by the air purifiers (measured in ft3/min). There are three CADR ratings - one for smoke, one for pollen and one for dust. The higher the number, the faster the air purifier filters the air.

AP-300PH Why Purify?
The air inside your home or office may be 2 to 5 times more polluted than the air outdoors. 1
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ranks indoor air pollution among the top 5 environmental risks to public health. 2
Common Airborne Pollutants:
Viruses
A cubic meter of air may contain 15,000 flu viruses. 3
Floating Dust
One ounce of dust contains nearly 42,000 living dust mites. Each mite is expelling 20 fecal pellets every day into the air you breathe.
Allergens
An estimated 1 in 5 Americans suffer from allergies. Allergy is the 5th leading chronic disease in the U.S. among all ages.4
Office Chemicals (toner, inks, etc)
Odors from felt markers, inks, glues, correction fluid, toner from copiers and other office chemicals can emit vapors.
Cigarette Smoke and General Household Odors
Both women and men exposed to heavy indoor smoke are 2-3 times more likely to develop chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 5
Pet Dander
100% of U.S. households have detectable levels of dog and cat dander.4 Short-haired or hairless animals contribute dander and allergens to indoor air pollution just as effectively as longhaired animals do. There is no such thing as a non-allergenic dog or cat. 6
Where These Airborne Pollutants can be Found in your Home and Office:
Air Vents
Central air handling systems can become breeding grounds for mold, mildew, and other sources of germs such as viruses and bacteria, which can then distribute these contaminants throughout a home or office. 7
Furniture and Upholstery
Dust particles on upholstered furniture can contain textile fibers, decomposing insect parts, pet dander and the flakes of human skin-all of which is released into the air anytime anyone sits down.8
Carpet
Carpet can hold 8 times its weight in dirt, pesticides and other toxins (such as automotive fluids from parking lots and lawn pesticides) brought in on shoes and even bare feet. When dry, these toxins become undetectable airborne particles.
Office Dividers
Cube divider walls can become magnets for allergens such as dust and pollen. Office dividers are the closest to your breathing space while you work and hold some of the most inhaled indoor pollutants.
