Following the first night of use in my bedroom I awoke with considerably less stuffiness of my nose and almost no sneezing. I was amazed! And this was on the lowest fan speed (very quiet) in a large bedroom (25'x15').

So excited to receive and use our new Fellowes Air Purifier with Plasma True technology. Helps with not waking up stuffy from allergies and the indicator lights tell you when the air is pure or the intensity needs to increase. This is a great machine for anyone with pets who also suffers from allergies but would like to breathe clean air. Thank you Fellowes for this great product!

This unit has proved to be a worthwhile buy. Myself and the members of my family have been so much more comfortable this allergy season since turning the unit on.

I purchased this product 5 days ago for the express purpose of clearing second hand smoke from my condominium. I am highly allergic and have had sudden influx of fumes in my home in the past week. The air purifier arrived on Saturday evening, just one day after the fumes ceased to be evident. Apparently the problem was caused by visitors or short-term workers. However, I have confidence that the air quality in my home has improved and if the smoke problem resumes, the unit will clear the air. I find that the air quality is best when I place it near my work station, and put the fan speed at the medium setting. The auto fan selection seems not to clear the air sufficiently. The unit is very quiet even at the high fan setting. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend it for small spaces; it is designed to service 300 square feet of space.

1. Carbon Filter Safely Removes Large Airborne Particles
The AP-300PH's four-stage purification system lets you get the most out of your air purifier. The purifier's carbon filter removes odors and captures large airborne particles from your room.

2. Sanitized Technology Keeps Carbon Filter Clean
The carbon filter is equipped with Sanitized® technology, which effectively reduces the development of bacteria, fungi, and dust mites on the carbon filter itself. This is important because, without this technology, microbes can settle on the filter and be re-circulated into the air. -
3. True HEPA Filter Removes Small Particles
Capable of filtering even the smallest microbes, the True HEPA filter is designed to safely remove 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns from your home or office, including pollen, ragweed and other allergens, mold spores, dust mites, viruses, germs, pet dander, cigarette smoke and odors. Yellow and red lights on the display panel indicate when the filter needs changing, ensuring that you change your True HEPA filter when needed. AHAM Certification
Fellowes® Air Purifiers have been certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) with three Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) numbers which indicate the volume of filtered air delivered by the air purifiers (measured in ft3/min). There are three CADR ratings - one for smoke, one for pollen and one for dust. The higher the number, the faster the air purifier filters the air.

Floating Dust
One ounce of dust contains nearly 42,000 living dust mites. Each mite is expelling 20 fecal pellets every day into the air you breathe.

Air Vents
Central air handling systems can become breeding grounds for mold, mildew, and other sources of germs such as viruses and bacteria, which can then distribute these contaminants throughout a home or office. 7
Furniture and Upholstery
Dust particles on upholstered furniture can contain textile fibers, decomposing insect parts, pet dander and the flakes of human skin-all of which is released into the air anytime anyone sits down.8
Carpet
Carpet can hold 8 times its weight in dirt, pesticides and other toxins (such as automotive fluids from parking lots and lawn pesticides) brought in on shoes and even bare feet. When dry, these toxins become undetectable airborne particles.
